Whether you're a beginner or already know some French, kids or adults, in groups or one-on-one time, we have a class for you!
We offer French courses from Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 9pm, and always do our best to match your objectives and needs.
You know how to greet and use other basic sentences (bye, thank you, please). You can introduce yourself (name, age, address) and ask those questions to other people. You can tell if you know someone or not and talk about simple possessions, but you still need others to speak slowly and clearly.
You can understand basic sentences about one’s family, occupation and background. You know how to ask for directions and you understand when someone is giving directions to you. You are able to say what kind of food you like and how to interact simply in a store.
You can ask for details about one’s personal life (relations, school, leisure) and occupation. You know how to describe events and talk about your projects. You are able to deal with simple conversations (store, doctor, travel). You can also express your opinions and give explanations for your decisions, although briefly. You know how to write a simple text on a topic of your choosing.
You are getting more comfortable and spontaneous. You speak with a certain degree of fluency and are able to debate on various subjects, using negative and positive sentences. Your vocabulary is getting bigger and you can give more details. You are able to write a detailed text about various subjects.
You can understand a wide range of longer and more demanding texts or conversations and recognize implicit meanings. You are getting more comfortable and are able to express yourself without looking for expressions. You speak French fluently in social, academic and work situations. You can write well-structured and detailed texts on complex subjects, showing use of connectors and a good knowledge of syntax.
Congrats! You can understand everything you hear or read and you know how to summarize it to offer a coherent presentation to someone else. You can express yourself spontaneously very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
