Make Music Edmonton is a celebration of music in all its forms and genres. For the Alliance Française of Edmonton, it’s also a great opportunity to showcase a diverse range of musical styles, performed by both amateur and professional artists.

We are thrilled to announce the 2026 edition of Make Music Edmonton, taking place on June 20, from 4 PM to 8 PM, along 124th Street and Area!

This vibrant celebration of music and culture, organized in partnership with the 124 Street Business Association, is calling on talented musicians to join the event. It is the unmissable summer launch event of the Alliance Française of Edmonton and 124th Street!

🌟About Make Music Edmonton: This electrifying celebration brings the community together through music. The 124th Street area will come alive with the sounds of musicians from all genres and backgrounds.

🎼 A Bit of History: "Make Music Day" or Fête de la Musique was initiated in France in 1982 by Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture. Celebrated on June 21st, this free, popular event promotes live music of all styles and genres, both amateur and professional.

We invite you to be part of this extraordinary event and perform live along 124 Street & Area. Make a day of it with your family and friends, enjoying music, art, and everything the vibrant 124 Street & Area has to offer, from patios to local boutiques!

This is a free outdoor event with no registration required.
