What? - Quoi ?
You might not know this, but non-profit organizations in Alberta have the opportunity to conduct charitable gaming activities in casinos as a way to raise funds for our events and operating expenses.
The Alliance française of Edmonton will volunteer at the Pure Casino Yellowhead (12464 153 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1S5) on Friday, October 8th and Saturday, October 9th and we need you!
There are around 20 positions to be filled such as: Banker, Cashier, Chip Runner, Sorter, Count room Supervisor...
You can pick either a day shift (9am to 7pm) or a night shift (6:30pm to 3:30am), count room shifts are from 11pm to 3:45am.
We are counting on you to give a little bit of your time to support us as a non-profit and help us raise some funds. You will find the registration form here on the right, you can return it to us at: communication@afedmonton.ca . Feel free to let us know what you would prefer, but please note that we cannot guarantee you the position and shifts of your choosing. If you do not know what positions you'd like to take or if it does not matter to you, please do not check any on the form.
We appreciate the time you will give us and feel free to transfer this information to your family, friends and colleagues who might be interested!
Vous ne le savez peut-être pas, mais les associations à but non-lucratif de l'Alberta ont la possibilité de faire du bénévolat dans les établissements de jeux d'argent pour lever des fonds pour leurs activités.

Il y a une vingtaine de positions à remplir, telles que : banquier-ière, caissier-ière, distributeur-trice de jetons,
superviseur-e de la salle des comptes...
Vous pouvez choisir d'occuper une position pendant la journée (de 9h à 19h) ou en soirée (de 18h30 à 3h30 du matin), les positions en salle des comptes sont ouvertes de 23h à 3h45 du matin.
Nous comptons sur vous pour donner un peu de votre temps pour nous soutenir en tant qu'association à but non-lucratif et nous aider à lever des fonds. Vous trouverez le formulaire d'inscription sur la droite de cette page, vous pouvez le remplir et nous le retourner à : communication@afedmonton.ca en nous communiquant vos préférences. Nous ne pouvons pas garantir que la position ou les horaires que vous choisirez seront encore disponibles. Si vous ne savez pas quelle position vous aimeriez occuper ou si cela ne vous importe pas, merci de ne rien cocher dans le formulaire.

Starting September 20,
the Pure Casino Yellowhead will require a proof of vaccination or negative rapid test result to enter the
building, the following documents are accepted:
- proof of vaccination (single dose accepted between September 20 and October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service or double
doses required after October 25)
- documentation of a medical exemption
- proof of a privately paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not
allowed)
